Our client is expanding their team and looking for an experienced Mortgage Administrator to join them in the Ilford area with flexible working options. This role is with an independent company dedicated to providing outstanding customer service, and they seek a motivated individual who shares their commitment to excellence.

Working hours:

  1. Monday to Friday
  2. 9:00 – 17:00
  3. Possibility of flexible remote working after a successful probationary period

Mortgage Administrator requirements:

  1. Experience in the mortgage industry is essential
  2. Meticulous with a keen eye for detail
  3. Positive & enthusiastic attitude with the ability to prioritise customer needs
  4. Ability to work under pressure and problem solve, independently and in a team
  5. Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office
  6. Well organised with excellent time management

Key duties of the Mortgage Administrator will include but are not limited to:

  1. Handling incoming calls, emails, post, and voicemails
  2. Responding to non-advisory queries professionally and promptly
  3. Liaising with solicitors, lenders, estate agents, and brokers to progress mortgage applications efficiently
  4. Updating customer service database accurately and ensuring all information is current
  5. Keeping clients and associated parties informed about application statuses
  6. Inputting cases into the system with accuracy and ensuring all documents are received in line with compliance policies
  7. Processing mortgage and insurance applications accurately and preparing suitability reports for clients
