Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive Psychology lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, taking into consideration the individual needs and learning styles of students
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning and fosters student engagement
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through various assessment methods, providing timely and constructive feedback
  • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of students
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments and research in the field of Psychology and incorporate them into teaching practices
Minimum Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Proven experience teaching Psychology at the secondary education level
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to diverse student needs
