Laboratory Glasswashing Technician – Swindon

Opportunity: Are you currently working in a lab? Does your experience include hands-on laboratory glasswashing and consumable management? If yes, then this is the role for you! As a Laboratory Glasswashing Technician based in Swindon, your responsibilities will include laboratory glasswashing and consumable management.

All work must be performed in line with EH&S, GMP, and GLP procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performing sample disposal and glass washing tasks.
2. Stock counts of laboratory consumables.
3. Understanding and correctly implementing written instructions.
4. Maintaining personal and communal laboratory areas in line with 5S principles.

This role does not involve lab analysis or testing; it is focused solely on glasswashing and consumable management.

This is a 12-month contract, with potential for extension or permanency based on performance. The PAYE rate is £13.00 per hour.

The shift pattern is 4 days on, 4 days off, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Skills Required

• Experience in laboratory glasswashing.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk regularly, and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds.
