Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Apply GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate.
  2. Demonstrate and promote the company vision.
  3. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  4. Perform sample preparation and analysis for various matrices and analytical methods.
  5. Analyze, prepare samples, and perform QC for routine testing.
  6. Review, work up, and assemble supporting data for performed work.
  7. Perform basic maintenance on equipment used for routine work.
  8. Read, understand, and execute SOPs required by EPA, company methods, governing agencies, clients, and internal QC departments.
  9. Prepare standard solutions and reagents as needed.
  10. Utilize word processing and spreadsheet programs on PC.
  11. Dispose of chemical wastes using approved methods.
  12. Conduct all activities safely and efficiently.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
  14. Work overtime as workload requires.

This position is full-time, 2nd shift, 3pm-11:30pm.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, or relevant experience.
  2. Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Ideal Candidates will have:

  1. Previous lab experience is a plus.
  2. Experience with instrumentation such as LC/MS or GC/MS is a plus.
  3. Environmental Science coursework or experience is a plus but not required.
Additional Information

Professional working proficiency in English is required, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Pay range: $18/hour + 10% shift differential
