ROLE DESCRIPTION

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling subscriptions and other online advertising products. Your client base will range from small independent agents to our largest and most sophisticated customers including global property owners and fund managers. You will focus predominantly on new business while also growing your revenue from accounts once you have won them.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, nurture & grow your existing client base.
  • Take an entrepreneurial approach to sell, train and retain.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of your clients and their needs through a consultative sales approach.
  • Become an expert in LoopNet's marketing solutions.
  • Complete ownership of the full sales cycle including: prospecting, demonstrating, closing, onboarding, training and renewing accounts.
  • Conduct a high level of in-person client and prospect product demonstrations.
  • Provide valuable insight to participants in the commercial property market.
  • Represent CoStar Group by hosting and attending industry events and networking with property professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability to maintain and grow clients over the medium and long-term.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and objection handling skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to metrics effectively.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • A consultative selling style with account management techniques.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate or asset management is advantageous.
  • Property portal or marketplaces experience would be advantageous.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Ability to travel to the United States for 3 weeks of training.
