Job description

Electrical Technician Contract Opportunity

I am currently seeking Electrical Technicians for a contract role with a nuclear client. Key details are as follows:

1. Job Type: Contract (INSIDE of IR35)
2. Rate: £38.90 per hour, up to £100 expenses per day
3. Location: Reading
4. Duration: 12 months initial
5. Shifts: 11 on, 3 off with 12-hour shifts
6. Clearance: Active SC (can be facilitated)

Role Description:

To undertake installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities in accordance with training, best practices, and trade/legal standards.

Requirements:

• Site Installation/Maintenance experience
• C&G 2391 Qualification
• Desirable: Experience in nuclear industry/power sector
• Level 3 Qualification (e.g., Recognised Training Scheme or Apprenticeship) relevant to the trade
• ECS Card relevant to qualifications and role - Mandatory for site access
• BS 7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations (latest edition)
