Job Description:

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to over 1.15 million people, extending to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

Shift patterns are available from Monday to Friday, between 15:00-19:30. Please note, the salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours.

You will support the delivery of quality patient care within a new state-of-the-art adult acute and children’s hospital. The Facilities Directorate offers services such as patient and retail catering, domestic cleaning, portering, and transport, all contributing to quality patient care. Your responsibilities include supporting catering services for patients and hospital functions, regenerating patient meals either centrally or at ward level, plating meals as advised by nursing staff, and cleaning and washing all catering equipment, machinery, and crockery.
