Job Description:
YOUR MISSION
- Work on individual projects based on customer requests guided through the Design Team head.
- Align with global brand positioning guidelines to validate new product requests and program ideas, including necessary modifications.
- Assist in generating compelling product stories, designs, and mood boards.
- Develop innovative product design ideas in line with specific product strategies.
- Gather market intelligence, providing the team with accurate and current trend information.
- Support the Business Unit Design team in creating and maintaining creative directions.
- Prepare detailed design mini sheets, tech packs, presentation materials, and specifications as needed.
- Design products targeting given FOBs guided by the Design Team.
- Maintain all relevant IT systems with the latest information for seamless communication with Puma Sourcing Team or Product Line Manager.
- Deliver projects within set deadlines.
- Participate in fittings and product development processes to ensure optimal design outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and enhance customer/consumer focus.
YOUR TALENT
- Open to all genders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
- Experience designing for leading fashion, sports, or streetwear brands; cross-gender apparel experience is a plus.
- Versatility in design across sport, fashion, and streetwear projects.
- Experience working in a team environment; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency with Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of fabrics and product development.
- Strategic and creative thinker, passionate about products.
- Consumer-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
