An established industry player is seeking a compassionate Brain Injury Support Worker to provide essential support to a young lady in the community. This role involves working on a 1:1 basis, where you will assist with financial, social, communication, and recreational needs, making a significant impact in her life. Flexibility is key, as you'll be required to work long day shifts and provide personal care. The ideal candidate will be a female driver with their own vehicle, ready to engage and encourage the client to learn new skills and enjoy community activities. Brain Injury Support Worker (Female Driver required)
Contract: Ongoing 12:00 - 23:00 followed by sleep in
Flexibility: ideally 3-4 days a week and full flexibility preferred
Pay rate: £12.50 per hour (PAYE) + Holiday pay

What will you be doing?
Due to the requirements of the client, applicants must be female drivers with access to their own vehicle to aid in transporting and supporting the client out in the community. The individual you will be supporting is a young lady in her mid-20s on a 1:1 basis.
For this role, you must be flexible and open to working long day sleeps and be happy to complete shifts lone working with the client. Your role will be supporting various needs including financial, social, communication, and recreational where you can make a real difference. You will also encourage them to learn new skills, help them get out into the community, and aid in meeting their needs.
The post holder will be considerate but have a firm attitude when needed when supporting the individual. The client often likes to go out into the community and spend time with her family. Please note that you will be providing emotional support and companionship and therefore require experience and/or transferable skills.
