Job Description

  1. Prepare monthly and yearly financial reports
  2. Coordinate and direct budgeting, procurement and financial planning
  3. Develop strategies to maximise ROI and meet the company's financial objectives
  4. Coordinate auditing services to ensure financial monitoring is up-to-date
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with banking, insurance, and non-organisational accounting personnel to facilitate financial activities
  6. Analyse the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed
  7. Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Senior Management Accountant' should have:

  1. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. Professional certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  3. Management Accountant, Accounting Supervisor or similar role
  4. Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
  5. Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
  6. Proficiency in relevant accounting software
  7. Excellent organisation and leadership skills
