Location: Hillingdon
Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 - Open to temp rate
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Open to temp to permanent
Start Date: ASAP, up to 3 weeks from offer

The Opportunity:We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and proactive School Executive Officer to join our leadership team. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the smooth operational and administrative running of the school, enabling the Headteacher and teaching staff to focus on delivering excellent education.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day management of school administration, HR, finance, and operations.
  2. Work closely with the Headteacher and Governing Body to develop and implement strategic plans.
  3. Ensure compliance with all legal, financial, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Manage communications with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
  5. Lead and develop the school’s administrative and support staff teams.
  6. Coordinate the efficient use of school resources, facilities management, and procurement.
  7. Support marketing, admissions, and public relations initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  1. Previous experience in a senior administrative, business management, or operations role, preferably in an educational environment.
  2. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  3. Strong financial and budget management expertise.
  4. High-level proficiency in IT and data management systems.
  5. A solution-focused attitude and ability to thrive under pressure.
  6. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., SBM, finance, business administration) are desirable.
