Title: Care Assistant - Community Visits

Salary: £14 p/h - Enhanced rate on weekends and bank holidays

  • Minimum 1-hour visits - time to care and connect
  • Paid training, client introduction, and shadowing visits
  • Paid travel time, wait time, and mileage

Roles and Responsibilities as a Care Assistant

  • Companionship: Spending quality time with clients and being a friendly, familiar face.
  • Home Help / Meal Preparation: Assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, cooking simple meals, or preparing ready meals.
  • Medication Support: Reminding or assisting clients with taking medications.
  • Personal Hygiene: Supporting clients with dressing, undressing, toileting, and bathing.
  • Getting Out and About: Accompanying clients to shops, cafes, garden centres, or for walks to get fresh air.
