Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic HGV Driver to join our team working from Bonnington Quarry and West Calder. This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving and interested in learning more about the construction materials industry. You will be responsible for delivering our products throughout South Scotland, playing a key role in maintaining our reputation for efficiency, safety, and quality. Full training on our products and processes will be provided to ensure you meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver concrete, asphalt, and aggregates safely and efficiently.
  2. Build positive relationships with the internal Distribution Team and external customers.
  3. Ensure all deliveries comply with legal requirements, prioritizing health, safety, and environmental standards.
  4. Collaborate with the Transport Manager to optimize delivery schedules and routes.
  5. Maintain flexibility to work variable hours, including occasional nights and weekends.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
  • Valid Class C License and current Driver CPC.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Hard-working, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
