Job description

A rare opportunity for an experienced COO to join a premier E&P firm and lead their expansion as well as manage all operational aspects. The role will report directly to the CEO and be part of the executive committee.

The responsibilities for this role include:

1. Leading major capital improvement projects to support company expansion and asset base.
2. Managing relationships with contractors and service providers.
3. Overseeing asset review, capital planning, cost targets, budget allocation, and financial performance analysis.
4. Managing operational activities and reporting across the asset base.
5. Leading the operations team, including staff appraisal, development, and performance management.
6. Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and HSE standards.
7. Driving organizational development initiatives.

A successful candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years in a similar executive role. Offshore/E&P knowledge is essential, and experience in the Middle East is a strong advantage.
