As a Public Cloud SRE focusing on SDN (Neutron), you will play a key role in driving the evolution and reliability of our OpenStack-based networking solutions.

• Ensure the performance and scalability of network infrastructure for our Clients.

• Deliver core projects while collaborating with the technical teams.

• Innovate and contribute to the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with security and scalability goals.

Your main responsibilities :

• Improve and refine both architecture and source code of existing Neutron architecture within our OpenStack infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and optimization.

• Collaborate with product owners, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver aligned and robust solutions.

• Promote DevOps best practices, maintain high code quality standards, and identify automation and optimization opportunities to enhance stability and performance.

• Continuously monitor emerging technologies and share advancements across the organization.

Your future impact

In 6 months

• Gain a clear understanding of the existing OpenStack environment and internal processes.

• Familiarize yourself with the team's workflows, coding standards, and deployment pipelines.

• Establish solid working relationships with team members and stakeholders.

• Begin contributing to smaller improvements or optimizations.

And in 1 year:

• Contribute to core product roadmap features for existing components.

• Maintain high standards of security and compliance across the entire network perimeter.

• Collaborate with the OpenStack community.

• Have knowledge of advanced networking and SDN technologies, including underlying protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, VXLAN, BGP, etc).

• Possess understanding of OpenStack architecture with a focus on SDN (Neutron - L2/L3, DHCP, LBaaS, ML2 plugins, etc).

• Have knowledge of Open vSwitch (OVS).

• Experience with DevOps automation pipelines (CI/CD).

• Hands-on experience managing complex IT infrastructures.

• Demonstrate a collaborative and results-driven mindset.

• Fluent in English.
