Finance Business Partner - Edinburgh

Your New Company:
Hays are proud to be working in partnership with an exciting organisation who are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner within their already established finance team. This company will not only provide a varied and stimulating role, alongside great support and training and great flexibility.

Your new role:
In your new role you will provide vital support, to enhance performance by supporting all budget holders, ensuring they have the necessary information to manage and improve financial and operational outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  1. Verify the accuracy of performance monitoring statements, ensuring they accurately reflect the current state of the business area.
  2. Ensure budget holders understand their performance data and the actions needed to improve it.
  3. Review, discuss, and agree on any necessary adjustments to the forecast.
  4. Completing management accounts.
  5. Create budgets and forecasts.
After your initial period of training, you will also have line management responsibility for 1 individual.

What You'll Need To Succeed:
In order to succeed, you will have great experience of budgeting and forecasting, alongside being an effective communicator with both financial and non-financial stakeholders. You will also possess the ability to work autonomously as well as have the willingness to learn new skills and systems.
