We are seeking a Sales Manager within Next Sourcing Brands to nurture and grow our business with Next Own Brand - The Set. This role offers great development prospects and the chance to work within a fantastic team.

Next Sourcing is a fully owned subsidiary of Next PLC, committed to excellence in the apparel and footwear industry. Driven by innovation, we focus on delivering high-quality products and exceptional experiences. We are looking for a passionate and experienced sales manager to join our expanding team. This role reports to the Head of Brands Sales & Marketing at Next Sourcing.

Your role
  • Relationship Management: Manage and develop relationships with License and Direct Brands clients, Next Sourcing UK and overseas teams.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with sourcing teams in various territories to develop strategies that bring the best offers to branded clients, including product development, pricing, and responsiveness.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance, support teams in improving results, and report progress to senior management.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify new product opportunities and growth areas, convert ideas into orders, and drive sales.
  • Product Development: Lead in product development from concept to ready-to-buy products.
  • Critical Path Management: Coordinate product delivery timelines with brand critical paths to meet key dates.
  • Sales and Influence: Sell product offers convincingly, influence brand ranges, and ensure alignment with brand needs.
  • Negotiations: Assist in price, delivery, and small order negotiations, ensuring competitive pricing and service.
  • Troubleshooting: Act as a link between brands and sourcing teams to resolve issues and maintain customer loyalty.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel for seasonal visits, trade shows, and inspiration trips.

About you

You should have a strong background in product development and sourcing, experience managing branded products, and nurturing client relationships. Drive, enthusiasm, problem-solving skills, and experience in buying, merchandising, or supplier roles are highly beneficial.
