Job description

We are looking for a Data Analyst Apprentice to join our team and work towards a Level 4 qualification. The primary objective of the role is to collect and interpret key data in order to produce reports and performance dashboards for four key business areas: People Support, People Development, Fleet, and QHSE. As part of the apprenticeship, you will develop your knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization tools.

About The Role

On a day-to-day basis, this is what you would be doing:

1. Produce regular and ad hoc reports as identified by business leaders.
2. Interpret data and use statistical analysis to identify trends.
3. Use tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs.
4. Maintain, update, and improve management reporting systems.

Who are we looking for?

Here is a quick checklist of the skills we are looking for:

1. 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grades A*-C or 4-9.
2. Level 3 qualification in a similar subject, e.g., Maths, would be an advantage.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Good organization, planning, and time management skills.
5. Experience in Power BI would be beneficial but is not required.
