You will play a critical role in enhancing their technical expertise on the connections between the state of nature, the economy, and human wellbeing. Your work will advance the use of natural capital information to transform the relationship between the economy and nature, catalyzing sustainable economic progress through fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors. You will have
To succeed as a Senior Economist in Nature, you should ideally hold an undergraduate or master's degree, or equivalent experience, in environmental or ecological economics.
Required experience includes working with international organizations, government agencies, or the private sector on natural capital, ecological economics, ecosystem accounting, or related economic policies. Experience in developing or applying nature-related assessments, securing funding from diverse sources, managing strategic partnerships, and leading complex projects is essential. Excellent communication, project management, and team leadership skills are also required. Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional UN languages highly desirable.

The salary range is GBP £41.5K to £49K per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include:
