We're looking for an experienced Welfare Rights Officer to work within the Welfare Rights Team at Lancashire County Council supporting the most vulnerable people in society.

This service was one of the first Welfare Rights services in the country, operating for over 35 years, helping families, young people, and individuals to ensure they receive the benefits and services they are entitled to, maintaining an income that enables independent living.

Legal and Disclosure

The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). Successful applicants will need to apply for a disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Additional Requirements
