Administration Assistant (Statutory Framework) (13/1205)

Location: Dumfries

Salary: £26,766 - £28,419

This is a 36-hour, permanent post based in the West of the region within the Statutory Framework Team. You will be responsible for ensuring that the administration processes for Fostering, Kinship & Permanence, Looked After Children Reviews, and Child Protection meetings are carried out to the highest standard.

This role involves working collaboratively with other Admin Assistants, including assisting with Adult Support & Protection and Mental Health administration processes when required. You may also be required to provide cover across the region, either remotely or by traveling to other locations. Occasional work outside normal hours, such as beyond 5 pm, may be necessary.

Requirements for the role include an SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent, along with strong computer, typing, and minute-taking skills. Candidates should have considerable office experience (at least 5 years), excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.

A current driving licence is essential. However, consideration will be given to applicants with disabilities that preclude holding a licence if alternative transport arrangements can be made.
