Job Title: Weekend Care Assistant - Community Visits

Location: Wadhurst, United Kingdom

Salary: £14.5 per hour - Enhanced rate on Bank Holidays

Job Description:

  • Minimum 1-hour visits to care and connect with clients
  • Paid training, client introduction, and shadowing visits
  • Paid travel time, wait time, and mileage

Roles and Responsibilities as a Care Assistant:

  • Companionship: Spending quality time with clients and being a friendly, familiar face.
  • Home Help / Meal Preparation: Assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, cooking simple meals, or preparing their ready meals.
  • Medication Support: Reminding or assisting with taking medications.
  • Personal Hygiene: Supporting with dressing, undressing, toileting, and bathing.
  • Getting Out and About: Accompanying clients to shops, cafes, garden centres, or for walks for fresh air.
