SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 - Aberdeen, UK (On-site)

Join Telent's high-performing engineering team, contributing to national infrastructure projects. We are seeking a Station Systems Technician with relevant experience to perform maintenance on critical systems such as CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on various station systems.
  2. Participating in planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
  3. Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults.
  4. Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
  5. Coordinating with the Telent Service Centre for task updates.

Qualifications and skills:

  1. Background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical work.
  2. Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
  3. Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  4. Full UK Driving Licence.
  5. Willingness to work night shifts (Sunday to Thursday, 10pm-6am).

Additional information:

This entry-level role is ideal for hands-on individuals eager to learn and grow within a team of experienced technicians. Prior experience with Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.
