About the Role:

As a Power Tool Service Engineer / Fitter, you will be based in the workshop, utilising your engineering expertise to maintain and repair a modern fleet of small tools and equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI’s), servicing, and repairing tool hire equipment.
2. Collaborating effectively within a small, close-knit team.
3. Striving to meet and exceed workshop targets and efficiency standards.
4. Performing well under pressure while adhering to Health & Safety regulations set by both the HSE and the company.

Skills and Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will bring:

1. Previous experience in roles such as Service Engineer, Mobile Service Engineer, Tool Fitter, Hire Technician, or Test & Run.
2. A background in the tool hire industry, with a solid understanding of equipment like Stihl Saws, Petrol Generators, Hydraulic Power Packs, and 110v Power Tools.
3. An analytical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently without instruction.
4. A clean, current driving licence.
