This is an exciting time to join the Port of London’s IT department as we embark on an ambitious replacement and upgrade programme enhancing standards, security, and user experience.
We are pleased to offer a role for a Field Engineer:
Working as part of a team of 4, focusing on RADAR, VHF, and microwave systems, you'll ensure the maintenance of existing assets and support our upgrade programme.
The role involves being part of an on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support, including weekends, with days off scheduled accordingly.
Our team works with some unusual technology across various locations, often at heights, with full safety training provided.

The Port of London Authority manages 95 miles of the tidal Thames, ensuring safety, environmental protection, and promoting river use. Our IT department supports operational systems critical for navigation and safety, including radar, vessel tracking, and communications infrastructure.
