An exciting opportunity has arisen within the MiChild group at our Blackpool based nursery for a nursery cook.

Moorevilla Day Nursery are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and organised individual to join our setting as a nursery cook, providing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a small kitchen
  • Cooking and preparing all meals from scratch
  • Managing all areas of the kitchen
  • Monitoring stock and wastage
  • Complying with hygiene regulations at all times

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate must have previous experience within a working kitchen environment
  • Demonstrable experience as a skilled Cook, ideally in a School or Nursery setting
  • Hold a Food Hygiene certificate as a minimum
  • Excellent culinary skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork skills are essential
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
