Job summary
Opportunities have arisen for a part-time Healthcare Science Assistant (29.75 hours per week) to join the Biochemistry team supporting the analytical laboratory service at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job
These positions are interesting and challenging, ideally suited for someone with previous Pathology laboratory experience who can work under pressure to high standards. Based in the Biochemistry section, you will join a busy team providing essential services for patients in North Lancashire, South Cumbria, and beyond. The successful candidate will work a rota of 2 days on, 2 days off, including weekends. Standard Agenda for Change pay enhancements apply to weekend shifts. Shifts start at 08:45 and end at 17:45 with a 30-minute break, or 18:15 with a 60-minute break.
