Are you an experienced transport planning professional looking to take a leadership role in a growing, forward-thinking consultancy? This is a unique opportunity to join an established, independent firm at senior management level, helping to shape the future of sustainable transport and development planning projects across the UK.

The Role


As an Associate Director / Director, you will play a key leadership role in managing projects, nurturing client relationships, and supporting the strategic growth of the business. You will act as a bridge between senior leadership and project teams, mentoring staff and ensuring high-quality delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing transport planning projects, with a focus on development planning and sustainable transport solutions
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a growing team of transport planners
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for new business
  • Contributing to business strategy, operational performance, and financial management
About You


I'm looking for a commercially minded leader with:

  • Significant experience in transport planning consultancy, ideally with a focus on development planning
  • Proven ability to lead projects, teams, and client engagements
  • Strong understanding of UK transport policy, planning frameworks, and approval processes
