Role Overview: The Data Scientist - GenAI Focus drives the development and implementation of Generative AI initiatives identified through the AI Incubator process. This role involves fine-tuning, deploying, and scaling GenAI models for commercial applications, such as knowledge base creation, recommendation systems, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and deploy GenAI models tailored for commercial applications.
2. Implement RAG techniques and other generative AI strategies to enhance business processes.
3. Ensure production-grade deployment using MLOps and LLMOps best practices.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with business goals.
5. Stay updated on advancements in Generative AI and large language model frameworks.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field; a PhD is preferred.
2. Expertise in Generative AI and large language models (e.g., Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs).
3. Experience with MLOps and LLMOps for scalable model deployment.
4. Proficiency in Python and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Azure).
5. Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
