Job description

We're looking for a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant who will be the heart of our operation for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week. You'll join a team that takes pride in their work, their food, their brand, and most importantly, their people. Shift Pattern:

1. Monday: Mornings
2. Tuesday: Mornings
3. Wednesday: Mornings
4. Thursday: Mornings
5. Friday: Mornings
6. Saturday: Off
7. Sunday: Off

Please note: This role is contracted for 43 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries and supply vehicles
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Adhering to Health & Safety regulations
• Managing pressure, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively at all levels
• Being an excellent team player
• Approaching work with commitment and organization
