An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join our Community Hospital Team to provide skilled, clinical, and effective care. Famau Ward at Denbigh Infirmary is a bedded ward offering rehabilitation and end-of-life care.

The post holder will support trained nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering the highest standard of patient-focused care.

Main duties of the job
  • Assist the registered nurse in carrying out direct nursing care.
  • Undertake delegated duties related to patient care, including escorting patients to various destinations, occasionally using wheelchairs.
  • Perform patient observations: temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, blood glucose, and urinalysis following training.
  • Report observations and any perceived changes in the patient's condition to the nurse in charge.
  • Accurately document information related to patient care as instructed by the nurse in charge.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally encouraged to apply.
