We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Account Executive for the Midlands area to actively drive sales growth in this region.

Your tasks include:

  • Increase brand awareness of IKA in the Midlands (Oxford, Birmingham, Nottingham, Cambridge).
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and companies.
  • Create new opportunities and penetrate new accounts to drive growth.
  • Focus on increasing sales and achieving annual targets.
  • Report and maintain data in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and implement new business opportunities.
  • Travel within the territory; home office 1-2 days a week.
  • Be aware of the territory and competitive landscape.
  • Meet with customers to understand their challenges.
  • Manage and coordinate tradeshows within the region.
  • Conduct sales analysis and submit weekly reports.
  • Support demonstrations, installations, and customer training.

Your profile includes:

  • A degree in a scientific or economic field (e.g., biology, chemistry, or related).
  • Experience in sales or customer service is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and relationship-building ability.
  • Independent, structured work style, and responsibility willingness.
  • Experience with Windows-based software, including MS Office, CRM, and MRP software.
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel.
  • Resident in the UK, preferably in Oxford, Birmingham, Nottingham, or Cambridge.
