Job description

What's this role about?

As a Data Engineering & Analytics practice lead, you will be responsible for growth, technical thought leadership, and providing advisory services on analytics environments leveraging Cloud platforms and big data technologies. Your role includes designing solutions, estimating efforts, and guiding the technical architecture for AWS/Snowflake Data Engineering and analytics practices. You will develop scalable data architectures, ensure data security and governance, and lead multiple competencies within data engineering & analytics, guiding teams on emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to client RFI and RFP with detailed technical solutions and cost estimates.
  • Understanding client requirements and creating technical proposals.
  • Contributing to project roadmaps and technical scoping.
  • Building solution strategies for internal platforms.
  • Leading analyst briefings and technical presentations.
  • Managing technical solution development and project delivery.
  • Developing best practices and estimating efforts.
  • Mentoring practice teams and managing multiple priorities.

Skills required:

  • 13-18 years of experience in Data and Analytics, with at least 10 years in AWS data platforms.
  • Experience with Snowflake architecture, data sharing, and governance.
  • Knowledge of additional technologies such as Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, etc., is advantageous.
  • Strong client engagement and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Data Platforms, with at least 2 AWS certifications.
  • Expertise in Snowflake, including security and metadata management.
  • Familiarity with open-source tools and languages like Java, Python, Scala.
  • Understanding of AWS Bedrock, AI services, and Snowflake Cortex is desirable.
  • Ability to develop IP/solution assets and collaborate with partners.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to work independently with clients.
