We'd like you to join us as a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine at the Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre. This position is part time - 2 days per week.
Located in Hucknall on the outskirts of Nottingham, we specialise in the treatment, care, and support of individuals aged 18 and over with physical and cognitive impairments due to brain injury or other neurological conditions. Our site offers flexible care options from our specialist on-site team, with three distinct yet complementary services.
Our clinical team is highly trained in rehabilitation and care of adults with brain injuries and neurological conditions, supported by housekeeping, catering, maintenance, and administration staff.
Patients have access to local adapted swimming and hydrotherapy services and outdoor areas for recreation.
We have links with a local spasticity clinic to support Botox treatments.
Our multidisciplinary team includes a hospital director, unit managers, medical doctors, neuropsychologist, head of therapies, nurses (RGN and RMN), occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, assistant psychologists, therapy assistants, and activity coordinators.
