Estimating Manager

Join Telent in Warwick, Warwickshire, UK, in a hybrid role that involves working at our Warwick Head Office periodically. As part of our team, you'll help keep critical networks connected and protected 24/7, contributing to something bigger.

Reporting to the Director of Rail, the Estimating Manager will ensure accurate, competitive cost estimates for new projects, collaborating with project management and engineering teams to consider all project aspects.

Responsibilities:

• Support the production and submission of accurate estimates for projects
• Manage the estimating process at bid, project, or scheme level
• Challenge cost estimates from SMEs in Delivery and Engineering
• Review project documentation to prepare detailed estimates
• Use standard processes and tools to minimize costs and response times
• Prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns and proposals
• Collaborate on project plans and attend pre-bid meetings and site visits

Candidate Profile:

Proven experience in estimating roles within Transport, Utilities, Telecoms, or Construction industries, with strong skills in cost modeling and analysis. Proficiency in Excel, excellent mathematical skills, and strong communication abilities are essential. A full clean driving license and flexibility to work at HQ are required.
