When you join as a Product Definition Engineer, you'll become a key part of our Combustion, Turbines & Exhaust Engineering Team in Bristol, supporting some of the most advanced defence gas turbine engines including the Adour and EJ200. You'll be responsible for maintaining and evolving the component definition of mature engine programmes, ensuring designs remain fit for purpose, manufacturable, and compliant with evolving requirements. This is a highly collaborative role where your expertise in CAD, tolerance stack-ups, and engineering drawing standards will directly influence product quality, safety, and performance.

This role sits within our Defence - UK & International Combat business area, supporting a range of mature gas turbine engine programmes, including the Adour, EJ200, and other legacy and naval platforms.

What you will be doing

- Have proven experience with CAD systems and engineering drawing standards, with a strong attention to detail.
- Be confident in managing and processing Drawing Alteration Requests (DARs) accurately and efficiently.
- Understand manufacturing principles and design for manufacture to ensure component producibility.
- Work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating across design, quality, and supply chain functions.
