Year 4 Primary Teacher (Supply) – Summer Term

Location: Staffordshire Moorlands
Contract: Full-time, Supply (Summer Term)
Salary: Competitive daily rate

Are you a passionate and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity this summer term? Academics are working with a friendly and well-regarded primary school in the Staffordshire Moorlands that are seeking a dedicated Year 4 primary Teacher to join their team on a supply basis.

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all pupils.

You will assess, track, and report on pupil progress to ensure high standards of achievement, using a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning needs.

Working closely with colleagues and support staff, you will enhance pupils’ learning experiences while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and promoting a respectful and nurturing classroom culture.

Engaging with parents and carers to support children's academic and personal development will also be an essential part of the role.

What We’re Looking For

Academics are seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher who has:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  2. Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 4
  3. Strong classroom management skills with a positive approach to behaviour
  4. A passion for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
  5. The ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
  6. A flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
  7. A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
