Radiography Barrier Patroller - Onsite

Location: Stogursey

Job Title: Radiography Barrier Patroller

Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset

Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

Main Purpose

The Radiography Barrier Patroller is responsible for patrolling radiography barriers to ensure safe and efficient work execution, following company procedures.

Main Responsibilities

1. Assist the radiography team with the erection of RCA (Radiation Controlled Area).
2. Use radiation monitoring equipment (training provided), ensure proper functioning and calibration.
3. Patrol the RCA, restrict access to unauthorized personnel.
4. Maintain communication with the radiography team and report unauthorized entries.
5. Intervene with suspicious individuals attempting to enter the RCA, inquire reasons, and report to the NDT Supervisor.
6. Participate in daily briefings and risk assessments.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned by site management.

Experience & Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Teamwork ability.
• CCNSG Safety Passport (desirable; provided if not held).
• Experience on construction/nuclear sites (desirable).
• Willingness to attend onsite training.
