A leading organization in Stornoway seeks a Nursery Key Worker to support children's development through a Gaelic medium curriculum. This permanent position requires proven childcare experience and a relevant qualification. You will play a vital role in shaping play sessions to meet individual needs. Interviews will be in person, allowing candidates to experience the work environment.

36.25 hours per week, all year, Permanent Position
£29,753 - £32,513 per annum, inclusive of £2,801 Distant Islands Allowance per annum
Through the medium of Gaelic, you will plan a curriculum which supports and guides children’s all-round learning and development, and plan and organise the play sessions taking into account the needs of every child.
You must have proven childcare experience working with young children and their families in an early years setting and a qualification that meets the Scottish Social Services Council’s requirements for Practitioners.
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children.
The ability to speak and read Gaelic is essential.
The salary quoted is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of the grade.
