Salary: 29k - 32k

Our client is seeking an IT Engineer to work on-site as part of our managed service team, supporting educational facilities with ICT infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site ICT support to ensure high-quality learning environments, under the guidance of the Network Manager.
  • Support staff and pupils' ICT needs using specialist skills and training.
  • Maintain and repair specialist equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  • Demonstrate safe and effective use of equipment, providing guidance as needed.
  • Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Follow work programs and policies related to child protection, health, safety, and data security.
Technical Skills
  • Set up and check hardware and software, including networked PCs.
  • Install applications, perform basic network checks, and manage user accounts.
  • Follow procedures for hardware acceptance, updates, backups, and virus protection.
Additional Tasks
  • Monitor legal and safety responsibilities, develop H&S procedures, and ensure compliance.
  • Assist with equipment transportation and maintain accurate support logs.
  • Participate in disaster recovery and maintenance plans.
