Factory Operative – Egg Mayo & Batching Line

Location: Barnsley

Pay Rate: £13.77 per hour

Hours: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) | 35 hours per week

CSP Recruitment is looking for a Skilled Factory Operative to join a leading food production facility in Barnsley. This role is perfect for someone with experience in food manufacturing, batching, and mixing, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and mix ingredients following recipes and manufacturing guidelines
  • Conduct pre-start checks and maintain food safety standards (HACCP, Food Hygiene, GMP)
  • Ensure products are labelled correctly and meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production targets

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a food production environment (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (Food Safety Level 2)
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong attention to detail
