Job description

We have an exciting opportunity at our City Campus Manchester to join our Media Department as a Creative Media Teacher, on a permanent, full-time basis.

What We're Looking For:

  • A team player with experience teaching Media in a further education setting.
  • A professional able to work with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and program effectiveness.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective instruction.
  • A professional who stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies, consistently enhancing their teaching methodologies to deliver the highest quality education.
  • Commitment to helping students achieve their full potential in a creative and collaborative atmosphere.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate of education or PGCE.
  • Current and valid industry specialism.
  • Assessor qualifications (if required by Awarding Organisation).
  • English and maths minimum level 2 Grade C or grade 4 and above.
  • Professional experience in either Video production, Audio production or Post Production with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
  • A demonstrable track record of effective teaching and delivery to post 16 students at level 2 and level under the UAL awarding body framework.
  • Knowledge and experience of effective internal verification processes.
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
