Treasury Accountant job opportunity for a utilities business in Glasgow

Your new company

Our client, a future focused utilities business, has an exciting job opportunity for a qualified senior finance professional to join them as Treasury Accountant.

Your new role
Your role will be varied and include responsibility for the accounting and reporting requirements of the Group's Treasury activities while overseeing and reviewing the daily liquidity planning processes, ownership of the long-term cashflow forecast process as well as ad-hoc/periodic reporting and month-end processes.
You will also support the preparation of Finance Committee/Board/Audit Committee materials as well as owning and producing periodic FX risk analysis.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with working knowledge and experience in Treasury Accounting under UK GAAP (FRS 102) (especially debt and derivatives, including hedge accounting); knowledge of cash management, cashflow forecast, intercompany structures and Treasury systems is essential.
