Job description

IT Project Manager who previous experience running IT projects, managing stakeholders, internal resources and third-party vendors is required for a well-established award-winning cloud solutions company based in Chorley, Lancashire, North West England.

SALARY: up to £42,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Chorley, Lancashire, North West England

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an IT Project Manager who has excellent organisational, time-management, coordination and communication skills.

As an experienced IT Project Manager you will be able to co-ordinate internal resource and vendors for the flawless execution of key client projects.

Working as an IT Project Manager your responsibilities include delivering every project on time, within budget and scope. You will have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.

As an IT Project Manager you will be skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects that you oversee, thriving when planning projects and working with project teams.

DUTIES

Your duties as the IT Project Manager include:

  1. Coordinating internal resources and third parties / vendors for execution of projects
  2. Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  3. Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  4. Ensure resource availability and allocation
  5. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  6. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  7. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  8. Report and escalate to senior management as needed
  9. Manage the relationships with clients and all stakeholders
  10. Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  11. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  12. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  13. Reporting on projects at quarterly board meetings
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Proven project management skills within the IT / Technology sector

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Solid understanding of the commercial aspects of successful projects
