Job Description

Join us as a Customer Service Personal Banker in Lancaster. You’ll be key in guiding and supporting our valued branch customers to achieve their financial goals. We encourage proactive efforts to continually enhance the customer banking experience. We will support your professional development with full training and help you achieve a Foundation Certificate in Responsible Banking. This role is offered for six months and does not qualify for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.

What You'll Do

As the first point of contact in our branches, your focus will be on delivering outstanding service. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Engaging in proactive conversations to understand and meet customer needs
• Handling banking requests such as payments, balance inquiries, and transfers
• Educating customers about banking options and services
• Identifying opportunities to offer simple financial products and collaborating with other teams for a seamless experience

The Skills You'll Need

Success in this role requires motivation, a customer-centric approach, and excellent communication skills. You should be able to clearly explain product benefits and procedures, work well under pressure, and be committed to continuous improvement. Additionally, you should have:

Working Pattern

Flexibility is required as you will work during branch hours (9am-5pm, Monday to Friday), including rotational Saturdays and some bank holidays.
