Year 1/2 Class Teacher
Location: East Harptree Primary School
Hours: 32.5 per week (full time)
Start Date: 01 September 2025
Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2026
Fixed Term Contract to cover sabbatical leave for seven months or until the return of the postholder.
The Role
East Harptree Primary School are looking for an inspiring teacher to join our happy and successful school.
We are looking for a practitioner with experience of teaching key stage 1 to teach a joint Year 1/2 class. ECTs welcome to apply.

Our School
Our school is a special place where everyone is encouraged to; Dream, Believe, Achieve Together. East Harptree Primary School is a small, friendly rural village school, and it plays a hugely important role in serving isolated village communities. We have close links with the local church community and the Diocese of Bath and Wells and work closely with Ubley Primary School as a supportive collaboration of two rural schools. Parental support is good and there is a highly supportive PTA Committee.
The Trust
The Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) is a Multi-Academy Trust which has experienced rapid growth since it started in 2016. There are currently 30 schools in the Trust.
The Lighthouse Schools Partnership is cross-phase and includes Infant, Junior, Primary and Secondary schools. The Trust is a mixed MAT and includes both non-denominational and Church of England schools.
