OVERNIGHT Pharmacy Tech with shift differential

Job Summary: Assist pharmacy staff with triaging incoming prescriptions, delivering filled prescriptions to patients, and performing cashier duties. Work under the supervision of a pharmacist and follow standard procedures to complete tasks.

Job Duties

• Assist in triaging incoming prescriptions
• Verify patient information including name, address, phone number, date of birth, allergies, chronic conditions, and insurance details
• Assess workload, establish pickup times, and queue prescriptions for processing
• Assist in delivering prescriptions to patients and obtaining signatures
• Perform cashier duties within the pharmacy
• Provide quality customer service to all customers
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, replenishing supplies as needed
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Stay current with all relevant state and federal regulations
• Perform store clerk duties as needed
• Complete mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Educational Requirements

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED (or currently enrolled)
• Preferred: AS Degree or higher

Experience

Preferred: Hospital or retail pharmacy experience

Special Conditions of Employment

• Drug test
• Monitoring for exclusions and sanctions
• Additional eligibility requirements as applicable

Compensation

$15.50 - $16.00 per hour. Final offer based on skills, experience, and education.
