About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Operational Technology Consultant to join our dynamic team, working across critical infrastructure, manufacturing, equipment vendors, and professional services sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in addressing cybersecurity challenges, particularly in OT security risk management, and possess a deep understanding of integrated information systems and OT. Strong teamwork, excellent communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement solutions within critical infrastructure, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.
  • Lead OT cybersecurity risk management initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and emerging threats.
  • Provide guidance on process control, SCADA, DCS, PLCs, RTUs, and industrial data communications.
  • Advise on OT architecture, security monitoring, and industrial cybersecurity.
  • Work across industries including electricity, oil & gas, water, nuclear, transport, and critical infrastructure.
  • Apply security standards like NCSC NIS, CAF, ISO 27001, ISO 27005, NERC CIP, ISA-99/IEC 62443, and NIST CSF.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and provide strategic cybersecurity advice.
  • Support business development and client engagement activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in security management of industrial control systems and OT applications, including:
  • Process control, SCADA, DCS, PLCs, RTUs
  • Industrial cybersecurity and data communications
  • IoT and Industrial IoT
  • Electricity network control systems
  • Strong knowledge of OT risk management, architecture, and monitoring.
  • Experience in sectors like electricity, smart energy, oil & gas, water, nuclear, and transport.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as NCSC NIS, ISO 27001, ISO 27005, NERC CIP, ISA-99/IEC 62443, and NIST CSF.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with consulting methodologies for OT challenges.
  • Interest in business development and proposal writing.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on OT security trends.
