Job Description

Known as Red Tops, our Multi Sports Coaches lead and facilitate engaging activities for children aged 8 to 17. Each coach is assigned a group of 16 children of similar age and leads various activity sessions, including football, tennis, badminton, cricket, and swimming, each lasting approximately 30-60 minutes.

Multi Sports Coaches report to the Camp Manager and are encouraged to demonstrate ‘Active Coaching’ – delivering high-energy, inclusive, and fun sessions that encourage every child to participate and enjoy, regardless of ability.

Child safety is our top priority. You will ensure the welfare of children at all times by supervising during breaks, participating in swimming sessions, overseeing equipment use, recording incidents, implementing behaviour management policies, and maintaining health and safety standards.

Our camps operate at top school and university venues across the UK. We also partner with organizations like the RNRMC, Annington Trust, and the Army Welfare Service to run camps for children of serving personnel at military establishments. If interested in a residential role, please include a note in your application.

Person Specification (flexible)

  • Availability for the full season (Monday-Friday, 8am-5.30pm), with a minimum of 3 consecutive weeks during summer.
  • At least 6 months’ experience working with children aged 5-17.
  • At least 3 months’ experience coaching sports or leading active games.
  • Vibrant, resilient, team-oriented, flexible, and adaptable.
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education.
  • Paediatric First Aid (training available if needed).
