Job description

Our client is a leading consultancy provider to the Renewable Energy sector. Using skills, processes and knowledge they provide industry leading services to clients. We are currently looking to recruit P6 Planners / Planning Engineers with proven experience within the Energy (Wind, Solar, Hydrogen, Hydroelectric or Nuclear) sector.

Main job purpose:

  1. Directing the planning team to create and maintain schedules for complex, high-risk projects or programs.
  2. Collaborating with the project team to define the scope, develop and update comprehensive timelines, cost details, and identify any deviations from the original plan.
  3. Assessing project schedule progress and performance, identifying emerging issues and potential risks.
  4. Analysing the critical path and constraints to evaluate the impact of schedule changes and proposing solutions.
  5. Leading the evaluation of alternative strategies or recovery plans for delayed schedules.
  6. Overseeing the creation of status reports to keep stakeholders informed on project developments.

Qualifications / Experience:

  1. Proficiency with Primavera (P6).
  2. Must hold a UK driving license.
  3. Experience working on complex projects or programmes within the Energy Sector.
